    Significant Activity:

    1542 hours – Trespassing arrest – Rancho Mirage Police was dispatched to 70200 block of Frank Sinatra Drive (Tamarisk Country Club), in the City of Rancho Mirage, regarding a trespassing subject.  The reporting party told dispatch that an unknown male arrived on bicycle and entered the clubhouse.  The subject was located and identified as 28-year-old Paul Holinaty, a transient out of Palm Springs.  Holinaty was found in possession of several items that appeared to be removed from lockers belonging to residents of the country club.  A Tamarisk Country Club supervisor responded to the scene, and confirmed Holinaty was not a resident or guest.  Holinaty was then arrested for trespassing and violation of the terms of his felony probation.  Follow-up investigation will be conducted regarding the property found in Holinaty’s possession.  File #S181540027.


    Monday, June 4, 2018 – Total calls 45

    Significant Activity:

    0146 hours – DUI Collision / Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a single vehicle traffic collision at Highway 111 and Paxton Drive, Rancho Mirage.  It was determined the driver, Matthew Casarez, 23 of Palm Springs, was driving a green sedan eastbound on Highway 111 when he veered off the road and collided with a curb.  The collision caused damage to center median landscape and two traffic light standards.  Casarez did not sustain injuries as a result of the collision, but during the investigation it was determined that he showed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol.  Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, which included a PAS. Casarez’ preliminary alcohol screening was a .25%- .23% BAC.  Casarez was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and submitted to a blood sample.  Casarez was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.  Once treated, he was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.  File #S181550005

    1806 hours – Public Intoxication Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to 71800 Highway 111 in Rancho Mirage, regarding an intoxicated subject.  Upon her arrival to the location she contacted Jason Heyman, 34 of Indio.  Heyman was in public and extremely intoxicated and was placed under arrest.  Due to his level of intoxication he was transported to an area hospital for medical clearance.  After receiving a clearance, Heyman was transported and booked in the Riverside County jail in Indio.  File #S181550033.

    Significant Activity:

    0513 – Trespass and Drug Possession Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino located at 32250 Bob Hope Dr., in the city of Rancho Mirage, reference a trespass investigation.  Upon arrival, officers contacted Alexandrea Grahm, age 28 of Palm Springs, and arrested her for trespassing.  Search incident to arrest, officers located a syringe containing suspected heroin and a glass pipe in Grahm’s possession.  Grahm was arrested for trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of heroin.  Grahm was booked at the Riverside County Jail, in Indio.  File #S181570005.

    1910 – Warrant Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a pedestrian check behind the Altura Credit Union located at Bob Hope Drive and Gerald Ford Drive and contacted a local transient, Bryan Johns, 32. A records check showed Johns had an active 3056 PC felony warrant for his arrest. Officers arrested Jones for his warrant and he was transported to the Riverside County jail in Indio.  File #S181570040.

    Significant Activity:

    1100 hours: Rancho Mirage Police responded to Westin Mission Hills, located at 71777 Dinah Shores Dr.  Hotel security had discovered a stolen credit card was used to rent several rooms for four nights.  Burglary Suppression Unit deputies with the assistance of Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage SET responded to the Westin and assumed the investigation. Deputies detained several subjects in the hotel rooms.  A search of the hotel rooms led to the discovery of numerous stolen credit cards, identification, and other personal information.  Additional recovered stolen property was related to a burglary that occurred in Rancho Mirage on June 4, 2018.  Additionally, 90.3 grams of methamphetamine, baggies and a scale were recovered in a related vehicle. Juan Deleon, age 36 of Thousand Palms, was arrested for identity theft, receiving stolen property, possession of methamphetamine for sales, and two felony warrants for identity theft and burglary.  Desirae Montes, age 26 of Banning, was arrested for identity theft and violation of probation.  Sade Parada, age 28 of Thousand Palms, was arrested for identity theft and receiving stolen property.  All suspects were booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181590020

    Significant Activity:

    0448 hours – Felon in Possession of Tear Gas (Pepper Spray) Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Westin Mission Hills, located at 71333 Dinah Shore Dr., Rancho Mirage regarding a trespassing call for service.  Upon arrival, officers contacted Jacy Averna, 23 years of Rancho Mirage.  Officers received consent to search Averna’s vehicle and  discovered Averna was in possession of pepper spray.  Averna was arrested for being a felon in possession of tear gas and she was booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181610007.

    1736 hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a possible DUI driver, who had just left the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage.  It was reported that a female driver, last seen driving a gray 2014 Bentley, was swerving all over the roadway.  Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at Bob Hope Dr. and Frank Sinatra Dr. and contacted Lana McIntyre, 71 years of Indian Wells.  While speaking to McIntyre, officers noticed signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment.  Field Sobriety Tests were only partially completed and McIntyre refused to submit to a PAS test.  McIntyre was arrested for suspicion of DUI.  She refused to submit to a chemical test and a McNeely warrant was sought and approved.  McIntyre’s blood sample was received and she was later booked at the Riverside County jail in Indio.  File #S181610046.

    Significant Activity:

    0753 hours – Commercial/Vehicle Burglary/Grand Theft:  Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Westin Mission Hills, located at 71333 Dinah Shore reference a past burglary.  Dispatch advised a bar was burglarized along with 2 vehicles.  While driving to the location, officers were advised the suspect had returned and had taken a golf cart. The suspect was driving eastbound along the sidewalk on Dinah Shore and security was following.  Upon arrival, officers met security at Bob Hope and Dinah Shore and they advised the description of the suspect and that he had fled from the golf cart. The subject rode eastbound across Bob Hope on a blue bike. The area was checked and the bike was located at 100 block St. Thomas, in Rancho Mirage, but the suspect was not located.  Security advised audio equipment was taken from Las Hadas bar along with alcohol.  Three vehicles were broken into with miscellaneous items taken.  All items were recovered hidden in a BBQ at the Westin and returned to their owners.  The Rancho Mirage Burglary Suppression Unit was forwarded the case.  File #S181630005.

    Significant Activity:

    0055 hours – DUI Arrest (Traffic Collision) – Officers from the Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to a single vehicle traffic collision on Highway 111 west of Paxton, in the city of Rancho Mirage.  It was determined the driver, Dorian Rendon, 25 years of Corona, was travelling eastbound on Highway 111 and collided with the center median, an irrigation box and a tree near Paxton Dr.  Rendon did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision, but during the investigation it was determined that Rendon showed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.  Officers subsequently arrested Rendon for driving while under the influence of alcohol.  Rendon refused to provide a chemical sample and a McNeely Warrant was authored.  After providing a blood sample, Rendon was transported to JFK Hospital for an OK to Book.  He was later booked into the Riverside County Jail, in Indio.  File #S181670001.

    Significant Activity:

    0043 hours – Trespassing and Warrant Service Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino, located at 32250 Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage regarding a trespassing.  Casino security had Saad Maqi, 51 years of Thousand Palms, detained for trespassing.  Upon arrival, officers contacted Maqi and subsequently arrested him for trespassing.  Additionally, Maqi had two outstanding warrants for trespassing.  He was transported and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181680001.

    0832 hours – Stolen Vehicle Arrest, Violation of Probation and Receiving Stolen Property Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police were at the intersection of Casino Dr. and Bob Hope Dr. when  a male driving a silver Toyota Camry, CLP: 5RLP252 was observed going through a red light at the intersection.  Officers attempted to stop the vehicle in the casino parking lot.  The driver, later identified as Joaquin Ramon Cabanyog, 42 years of Palm Desert, parked the vehicle in the south parking lot of the casino and fled the vehicle, northwest toward Bob Hope Dr.  A foot chase ensued and Cabanyog was apprehended a few minutes later on Bob Hope Dr. and Ramon Rd.  Cabanyog was arrested and later booked into the Indio Jail for stolen vehicle, receiving stolen property, violation of probation and resisting arrest.  File #S181680008.

    Significant Activity:

    1757 hours – Trespassing Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to 34100 block of Monterey Ave., Rancho Mirage regarding a follow-up to a transient who was trespassing.  Upon the officer arrival, Dannette Goldstone, 57 years of Rancho Mirage was located and contacted reference the trespassing complaint.  The investigation revealed that Goldstone had been previously warned not to trespass, and as a result, she was arrested for trespassing.  Goldstone was transported and booked at the Riverside County jail in Indio.  File #S181690052.


    Tuesday June 19, 2018 – Total calls 53

    Significant Activity:

    1129 hours – Stolen Vehicle Arrest (Pursuit) – Riverside County Sheriff’s Dispatch dispatched a call reference an unreported stolen truck and trailer.  Dispatch advised the reporting party was behind the truck and trailer and was following it eastbound on Highway 111 passing the Rancho Mirage Library, in the city of Rancho Mirage.  The reporting party stated truck and trailer was stolen from the city of Palm Springs earlier in the morning. Rancho Mirage Police initiated a traffic stop and the suspect failed to yield.  A pursuit was initiated and the vehicle stopped at Highway 111 and Washington St. in the city of La Quinta.  Officers gave commands to the female driver, later identified as Olga Evans, 25 years of New York, to exit the vehicle and she failed to comply.  Officers gained entry into the vehicle through the passenger window and removed Evans from the vehicle and detained her.  Evans was arrested for stolen vehicle and she was later transported to the JFK Hospital for an OK to Book.  Evans was booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181700025.

    0240 Hours – Commercial Burglary – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Elephant Car Wash, located at 71490 Highway 111, Rancho Mirage regarding an alarm call.  Upon arrival, officers immediately discovered a large window smashed.  The area was checked, however, officers were unable to locate anyone nearby. Video surveillance will be available when staff arrives at 0800 hours. File #S181710007.

    Significant Activity:

    1710 Hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a report of an intoxicated driver near the intersection of Highway 111 and Evening Star Dr., Rancho Mirage. Officers located the vehicle at Monterey Ave. and Shadow Ridge Rd. and conducted a DUI investigation; determined the driver of the vehicle, Jose Rosario, 24 years of Palm Desert, was impaired and driving vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Rosario’ blood alcohol content (BAC) was .25%. Rosario was booked into the county Jail in Indio for 23152 (a) and (b) CVC- driving under the influence of alcohol. File #S181730056.

    2055 Hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police Officers responded to the area of Monterey Ave. and Country Club Dr. regarding a reckless driver. The reporting party stated a green Toyota 4runner was unable to maintain its lane. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Gerald Ford Dr. and Da Vall Dr. Officers contacted the driver, Antonio De Jesus Mejia, 33 years of Cathedral City and arrested him for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Mejia’s blood alcohol content (BAC) was a .16%. Mejia was arrested and booked into the county jail in Indio. File #S181730076.

    Significant Activity:

    2216 hours – Child Endangerment Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a reported child endangerment at the Agua Caliente Casino, located at 32250 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage.  It was reported to casino security that two small children were left unattended while in a red Toyota Prius parked in the north parking lot of the casino.  Upon security arrival, they located two small children asleep while buckled in car seats located in the back seat. They were wearing long sleeves and covered in blankets.  CDF personnel arrived and forced entry into the vehicle by breaking a window.  The children were awoken and treated, then transported to EMC for additional treatment.  Further investigation showed the father of the two children, Charles Lindholm, 29 years of Victorville, parked and locked his vehicle in the north lot at 2157 hours, then walked away and into the casino. The engine and the air conditioner to the vehicle were not running at the time and the outside temperature was 91 degrees.  Lindholm returned to his vehicle at 2238 hours and was detained by law enforcement.  He identified his vehicle and the two children as his twin daughters.  He told officers he was on his way to Arizona, but had to stop to use the restroom and get a cup of coffee.  Lindholm was arrested for felony child endangerment and booked into the Riverside County jail in Indio.  CPS was notified of the circumstances and the investigation is ongoing.  File #S181760063.

    Significant Activity:

    2133 hours :  DUI Arrest/Non- Injury Traffic Collision – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Mirage Cove Drive and Highway 111, within the city of Rancho Mirage. The investigation revealed a white Lexus sedan traveling southbound on Mirage Cove Drive ran a red traffic signal, collided with a gray black Nissan sedan that was traveling eastbound on Highway 111. The driver of the Lexus, Danielle Rago, age 31 of Palm Springs, was found to have been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. No parties were injured as a result of the traffic collision. After being medically cleared, Danielle Rago was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio for driving under the influence of alcohol, 23152 (a) and (b) CVC. Rago’s BAC was .29%.     Significant Activity:

    2113 Hours – Public Intoxication Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Albertsons located at Monterey Ave. and Country Club Dr. in Rancho Mirage to assist a store employee who had reported there was an extremely drunk female in the store. Officers located and contacted the female, Christy Maguire, 30 years of Los Angeles. Maguire showed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication and demonstrated she was unable to care for herself. Officers arrested Maguire for public intoxication and she was transported to the county jail in Indio.  File #S181780069.

    2210 Hours – Public Intoxication Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to Fleming’s Steakhouse located at 71800 Highway 111 in Rancho Mirage regarding an intoxicated transient. Upon arrival, Jason Hart, 38, years of Palm Desert was located. He exhibited signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment and was unable to care for himself. Hart was arrested for public intoxication and booked at the county jail in Indio. File #S181780071.

    Significant Activity:

    1402 Hours – Possession of Drugs for sales, Transportation of Drugs for Sales and Violation of Probation –  Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Ramon Road and Bob Hope Drive, in the city of Rancho Mirage.  Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle.  The rear passenger, Mayra Igala, 27 years of Desert Hot Springs, was on probation.  During a search of the vehicle, officers located a bag containing a small amount of methamphetamine. Sigala was arrested and transported to the Palm Desert Station. At the station, Sigala was taken to the restroom and Sigala removed two baggies of methamphetamine and one baggie of heroin from her pants.  The methamphetamine had an approximate weight of 7.2 grams and the heroin had an approximate weight of 14.2 grams.  Sigala was transported the county jail in Indio where she was booked.     Significant Activity:

    1130 Hours – Possession of Drugs and PRCS Violation Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic stop at Hwy. 111 and Magnesia Falls Dr., Rancho Mirage. Officers discovered that Rogelio Maciel, 36 years of Palm Desert, was on PRCS and his vehicle was searched. 5.8 grams of methamphetamine and a scale were located during the search. Maciel was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drugs for sales and transportation. Maciel was transported and booked into Smith Correctional Facility. Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force was notified of the arrest. File #S181800032.

    Significant Activity:
    0050 Hours – Public Intoxication Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to Eisenhower Medical Center regarding a heavily intoxicated subject being uncooperative with security personnel. Officers arrested Lloyd Martinez, 32 years of La Quinta, for public intoxication. Due to Martinez sustaining an abrasion prior to officers contacting him, he was taken to JFK Hospital for a medical clearance. Martinez was then transported and booked into the county jail in Indio.  File #S181230002.


    Friday, May 4, 2018 – Total calls: Rancho Mirage – 56

    Significant Activity:
    2357 Hours – Domestic Violence Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Westin Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage reference a domestic disturbance. Natalie Bixler, 35 years of Valencia, was involved in a physical altercation with her husband. Both parties had been consuming alcohol and sustained minor injuries. Bixler was determined to be the primary aggressor and was arrested for domestic violence. She was transported and booked into the county jail in Indio. File #S181240056.

    Significant Activity:
    1637 hours – Warrant Service Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police Special Enforcement Team conducted a pedestrian check at 32250 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage and contacted Leon Kirkland, 44 years of Rialto.  A records check showed Kirkland had an outstanding felony arrest warrant for stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property.  Kirkland was placed under arrest and transported to the Riverside County jail in Banning.  File # S181270029.

    1718 hours – Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Rancho Mirage Police responded to 70200 block of Highway 111 in Rancho Mirage regarding an assault with a knife.  The investigation showed that the suspect, Jennifer Launder, 43 years of Rancho Mirage entered the residence acting erratically and attempted to stab her son, while he was sitting in the residence with his friend. Both subjects were able to safely exit the residence and no injuries were reported.  Officers recovered the knife and arrested Jennifer Launder for assault with a deadly weapon.  She was transported and booked at the Riverside County jail in Banning.  File #S181270031.


    Tuesday, May 8, 2018 – Total calls: Rancho Mirage – 56

    Significant Activity:
    0033 hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the intersection of Bob Hope Dr. and Frank Sinatra Dr., Rancho Mirage regarding a single vehicle traffic collision.  Upon arrival, officers discovered the vehicle engulfed in flames and the driver, Nicole Tamez, 20 years of Palm Desert, standing on the south west corner of the intersection.  Officers contacted Tamez and conducted a DUI investigation.  Tamez was subsequently arrested for DUI and later transported to JFK for an okay to book.  Tamez was booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181280001.

    0855 hours – Domestic Violence Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the area of Dinah Shore and Plumley, Rancho Mirage regarding a report of a female screaming for help.  Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim.  The victim stated that her boyfriend, Brian Kerr, 23 years of Palm Springs, grabbed her and struck her in the facial area.  Kerr was arrested for 243(e)(1) PC and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181280009.

    Significant Activity:
    1250 hours – Trespass and Possession Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino in the city of Rancho Mirage, reference a trespass investigation. Officers contacted Peter Anthony Rivera, 38 years of Los Angeles. Incident to arrest, Officers located 4.2 grams of methamphetamine in his possession. Rivera had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for vandalism. He was transported and booked into the Indio Jail. File #S181300034/S181300045.

    Significant Activity:
    1100 Hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a vehicle driving erratically and hitting the curb in the area of Frank Sinatra Dr. and Hwy. 111, Rancho Mirage. Officers located the vehicle at Frank Sinatra Dr. and Monterey Ave. and contacted the driver, Dolores Zitomer, 70 years of Palm Springs. Field Sobriety Tests were performed and Zitomer was arrested for DUI. Zitomer agreed to perform a breath test, and her blood alcohol content was .12%. Zitomer was arrested and booked into the county jail in Indio jail. File #S181360027.

    1833 Hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to Monterey Ave. and Frank Sinatra Dr. reference a DUI driver. Officers located the vehicle traveling northbound on Da Vall Dr. and initiated a traffic enforcement stop. Officers contacted the driver, Joseph Pierce 63 years of Rancho Mirage. Pierce displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and agreed to participate in field sobriety tests. Pierce was placed under arrest for DUI; he agreed to a breath test. His blood alcohol content was .25%.  Pierce was booked into the county jail in Indio. File #S181360050.

    2128 Hours – Warrant Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino at 32250 Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage, regarding a trespass. Upon arrival, Officers contacted Lucia Serrano, 33 years of Cathedral City. A records check showed Serrano had a felony warrant for vehicle theft and two misdemeanor warrants for drug related offenses. Serrano was placed under arrest and transported to the county jail in Indio. File #S181360055.

Officers arrived and contacted Tarah Blair, 27 of Desert Hot Springs, asleep in a silver Mercedes. Blair was on formal probation with full search terms. Officers contacted Marcos Massie, 26 years.     2148 Hours – Use of Force / Trespassing Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to 41-000 Bob Hope Drive, in the city of Rancho Mirage, regarding a disturbance.  Officers contacted Miguel Martinez, 24 years of Coachella, at the location. During the investigation, Martinez was arrested for trespassing. As officers attempted to place Martinez into the back seat of the patrol vehicle, Martinez attempted to pull away. Officers took Martinez to the ground causing a small cut to Martinez left eyebrow.  Officers placed Martinez into the back of the patrol vehicle without further incident.  CDF responded and treated Martinez at the scene. Officers did not sustain any injuries during the incident. Martinez was transported to Eisenhower Medical Center for a medical release and then booked at the county jail in Indio for trespassing.     1755 hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a report of an intoxicated driver, located at Hwy 111 x Country Club, in the city of Rancho Mirage.  Officers conducted an enforcement stop and contacted the driver, Brianna Price-Orozco-24 years, from Indio.  Officers conducted standardized field sobriety tests of the suspect and determined she was under the influence of alcohol.  The suspect had a blood alcohol concentration of .19%.  The suspect was booked into the Riverside County Jail, in Indio.   File #S181500045

    1013 Hours – Fatal Traffic Collision – Officers from the Rancho Mirage Police responded to a major injury traffic collision on northbound Bob Hop Dr., north of Ginger Rogers Rd. Police and fire units arrived together at 1017 hours, and the victim was pronounced by Cal Fire paramedics deceased. The Palm Desert Traffic team responded and assumed the investigation.  The investigation revealed the driver of panel truck had inexplicably veered into the bike lane and struck a bicyclist who was riding northbound on Bob Hope Dr. Alcohol and drugs were determined to not be a factor.     1634 Hours – DUI Arrest –  Rancho Mirage Police responded to 32250 Bob Hope Dr., the Agua Caliente Casino and Resort, reference a single vehicle traffic collision.  Upon investigation, it was determined Garrin Marie Heard, 39 years of Cathedral City, had lost control of her 2015 Kia Forte, and drove over the center median located at the south entrance of the casino. The vehicle traveled through the median and came to rest on the dirt lot north of the media. Officers found Heard to be exhibiting signs of alcohol intoxication and a DUI investigation was conducted. Heard was found to be driving under the influence and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to the collision. She was administered a breath test where her blood alcohol content was measured at 0.23%.  Heard was arrested and booked into the county jail in Indio. File #S180930039.

    2116 Hours – Domestic Violence, Kidnapping/ False Imprisonment Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Motel 6 at 69570 Hwy. 111 in Rancho Mirage regarding a domestic violence. The victim reported being in an argument with her boyfriend, Thomas Brett, 58 years of Redlands.  As the victim walked away from the room, she was forcibly taken back to the room by Brett and forced to stay locked inside. After a short while, the victim was able to leave the room and summon for help. The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of this incident. Brett was contacted by Rancho Mirage Police and placed under arrest. He was transported to Smith Correctional Facility and booked. File #S180930048.

The subject, Cody Barneck, 28 years of Desert Hot Springs, was in possession of a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamines. Cody told Officers his brother, Ryan Barneck, 35 years of Desert Hot Springs, was inside the casino. Ryan had a parolee at large warrant. Rancho Mirage Police contacted Ryan inside the casino and placed him under arrest. Both Cody and Ryan were transported to Smith Correctional Facility where they were booked. Officers contacted Priscilla Cisneros, 29 years of Desert Hot Springs, and she was arrested for suspicion of DUI. She consented to a breath test and her blood alcohol content was .15%. The reporting party stated he had reserved the residence for the first week of Coachella Fest utilizing an on-line application. When the subject arrived at the location, he was notified the residence was never listed as a rental. Patricia Azucena, 32 years of Cathedral City, was arrested for DUI and for her DUI warrant. Azucena submitted to a breath test, and her blood alcohol content was .16%. Upon arrival security advised the female lived at in the area. Rancho Mirage Police contacted Jill Davis, 59 years of Rancho Mirage. Davis had misdemeanor warrant for public intoxication.     1445 Hours – Theft Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to Alberstons located at 40101 Monterey Ave, Rancho Mirage, reference two females detained for shoplifting.  Annette Valadez, 30 years of Thousand Palms, and Veronica Bouvia, 22 years of Desert Hot Springs, both had stolen over $100 worth of merchandise from Albertsons. In the process of attempting to pick up his belongings, he was yelling and trying to force his way into her residence.     2051 Hours – Traffic Collision and Felony DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a vehicle traffic collision at Bob Hope Drive and Gerald Ford Drive, in the city of Rancho Mirage. The investigation revealed that a white Dodge pickup truck traveling southbound on Bob Hope Drive, just south of Gerald Ford Drive, collided with a gray Ford Fusion. The driver of the Dodge, Modesto Chavez, 46 years of Cathedral City, was found to have been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, causing minor injury to the occupants inside the Ford. Chavez agreed to a PAS test with a result of .102% BAC. Chavez was not injured, but was taken to EMC for a medical clearance.     2148 hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the area of San Jacinto Dr. and Indian Trail Rd., Rancho Mirage regarding a reported drunk driver.  Multiple callers reported a black Range Rover was swerving all over the roadway.  Officers located the vehicle on Bob Hope Dr. near Rancho Las Palmas.  Officers contacted the driver, Jennifer Paez, 36 years of Rancho Mirage, and subsequently arrested her for DUI.  Paez refused all tests and a McNeely warrant was authored for a sample of Paez’ blood.  After a sample was obtained, Paez was transported and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181140056.

    0252 Hours – Trespassing, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Warrant Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino located at 32250 Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage, regarding a trespassing.  Upon arrival, the officer contacted Jesus Reparejo, 36 years of Cathedral City, who was being detained by casino security for trespassing.  Reparejo was placed under arrest for trespassing and during a search incident to an arrest, the officer located approximately .5 grams of methamphetamine. Reparejo also had several warrants for his arrest, which included DUI drugs, and evading a peace officer.  Reparejo was transported and booked into the county jail in Indio. File #S181150005.

    1255 Hours – Possession of Stolen Property Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Motel 6 in Rancho Mirage reference a follow-up of suspect information. A victim of vehicle theft was driving by the location when he noticed two subjects carrying his stolen property, which was in his stolen vehicle the day before. Officers made contact with Michael Goodacre, 30-year-old transient from Palm Springs, and his girlfriend, Alexis Dare, 25-year-old transient from Palm Springs.  It was learned that both were on formal probation and upon conducting a search of Michael Goodacre, officers located (6) stolen access cards on him.  Goodacre claimed he found them on the ground; however, located in Goodacre’s backpack were clothing all belonging to the victim. Michael Goodacre was subsequently arrested for possession of stolen property, and he was transported and booked into the county jail in Indio.  File #S181150025.

    1527 Hours – Possession of Controlled Substance/ Warrant Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Hwy. 111 and Peterson Rd., Rancho Mirage. During the traffic stop, the officer arrested the passenger of the vehicle, Breanna Cagle, 29, years of Cathedral City, for one felony warrant and two misdemeanor warrants. Cagle was also in possession of a small amount of heroin. Cagle was arrested for the outstanding warrants and narcotics and booked into Smith Correctional Facility. File #S181150041.

    0514 HoursPossession of a Controlled Substance/ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/ Trespass Arrest- Rancho Mirage Police responded to Agua Caliente Casino regarding a trespass. The officer contacted Stefan Streets, 31 years of Cathedral City, and he was arrested for trespassing at the Agua Caliente Casino.  Streets has been banned from the Casino on four different occasions and has been served with numerous trespass letters from casino staff.  While conducting a search of Streets and his property, the officer located approximately 7.9 grams of Methamphetamine and 4.1 grams of Heroin along with numerous drug paraphernalia.  Due to Streets extensive health problems, he was issued a citation at the Palm Desert Station and released.     2032 Hours – Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Bat) and Robbery Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police was flagged down at the Rancho Mirage Library. A subject stated he had been assaulted and robbed at 1932 hours near the Elephant Car Wash. The victim stated he was inside a dumpster looking for recyclables when Jeffery Preble, 62 years of Rancho Mirage, approached him and began yelling and swung a baseball bat at his head.  The victim ducked and was uninjured.  Preble continued yelling and took the victim’s bicycle. Preble was contacted at his residence and the bicycle was located as well as a baseball bat that was found by the front door.     2337 hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the area of Bob Hope Dr. north of Dinah Shore Ave., Rancho Mirage regarding a possible traffic collision.  Upon arrival, the officer contacted Liliana Moreno, 30 years of Cathedral City, standing next to her vehicle, which was stuck in the sand on the west side of Bob Hope Dr.  Through the investigation, it was determined that Moreno had entered the sand area by the casino and traveled in the sand until becoming stuck, just north of Dinah Shore.  Rancho Mirage Police subsequently arrested Moreno for DUI.  Moreno’s BAC was .10% on the EPAS.  She was later transported and booked into the Riverside County jail in Indio.  File #S181180055.

    0008 hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 111 and Paxton, Rancho Mirage regarding a traffic violation. Scott Home, 60 years of Culver City, was contacted. The officer suspected that Home’s was driving under the influence and a DUI investigation was conducted.  Home’s was subsequently arrested for DUI and gave a blood sample.  He was then transported and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S181200001.

    0117 hours – Public Intoxication Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Albertson’s located at 40101 Monterey Ave., Rancho Mirage regarding an unknown trouble.  It was reported that a male was currently chasing a screaming female through the parking lot.  Joseph Gilbert, 64 years of Rancho Mirage (transient), was contacted in front of the south door of the Albertson’s.  Gilbert threw a bicycle at an unidentified female as she was screaming.  Gilbert took a combative stance when approached and the officer deployed his OC spray.  Gilbert was detained and subsequently arrested for public intoxication.  The unidentified female fled the scene and was not located.  Gilbert was taken to JFK for a medical clearance, then booked into the Indio jail.  File #S181200002.

    1550 hours – Warrant Service Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino located at 32250 Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage to assist in a possible fraud investigation.  While at the casino, the officer contacted Marc Valenzuela, 38 years of Fontana.  A records check of Valenzuela showed he had two outstanding felony warrants and one local misdemeanor warrant.  Valenzuela was arrested for his warrants and booked into the Riverside County jail in Indio.  Further investigation and follow-up will be conducted regarding the fraud investigation.  File #S181200040.

    2024 Hours – Major Injury Traffic Collision – Officers from the Rancho Mirage Police Department responded to a major injury traffic collision on Hwy. 111 west of Atrium Way, Rancho Mirage. The collision investigation revealed a Chevrolet Suburban was traveling westbound on Hwy. 111 when it veered off the roadway colliding with a tree. Firefighters with Cal Fire extracted the driver from the vehicle. The driver was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center with traumatic injuries. File #S180600075.

    Significant Activity:
    1715 – Criminal Threats Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to 72000 block of Follensbee Road, Rancho Mirage regarding a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with two subjects who appeared to be intoxicated.  While both parties were separated, Kristen Schwartzman, 46 years of Rancho Mirage, returned to the inside of the residence and repeatedly told the other party she was going to kill him. Schwartzman had to be held back and officers placed her under arrest for making criminal threats.  She was transported and booked into Riverside County Indio Jail.  File #S180630019.

    2330 Hours – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic enforcement stop on San Jacinto and Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage.  The officer contacted the driver, Louis Hirth, 71 years of Yuma City, AZ and conducted a DUI investigation. Hirth was arrested for DUI with a blood Alcohol Content of .20% per the EPAS.  Hirth was later transported and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S180630031.

    0220 Hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Bob Hope Dr. near the Agua Caliente Casino.  The officer contacted the driver, Raul Garcia, 48 years of Bermuda Dunes,  conducted a DUI investigation, and subsequently arrested Garcia for DUI.  Garcia’s Blood Alcohol Content was .14% on the EPAS.  Garcia was later transported and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S180640004.

    Significant Activity:
    2304 hours – Warrant Service Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Albertson’s located at 40101 Monterey Ave., Rancho Mirage regarding a theft.  A customer reported that she believed a white male had shoplifted groceries and left in a vehicle.  The customer provided a description of the vehicle.  Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic stop of the suspect vehicle and contacted Frank French, 47 years of Palm Springs and discovered the items taken from the Albertson’s.  Albertson staff denied prosecution for the theft and the items were returned to them.  Officers placed French under arrest for an outstanding commercial burglary warrant.  French’s vehicle was towed and he was booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S180650059.

    2116 Hours – Under the Influence Arrest and Violation of PRCS – Rancho Mirage Police was dispatched to Agua Caliente casino located at 32250 Bob Hope Dr. in the city of Rancho Mirage, reference casino security had contacted a male who stated he had just used methamphetamine. The officer arrived on scene and contacted Johnathan Meisse, 24 years of Palm Springs. During the contact, it was determined Meisse was under the influence of narcotics. Meisse was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. It was later determined Meisse is on felony Post Release Community Supervision and was in violation of his parole terms.     0405 Hours – Petty Theft Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino regarding a petty theft that just occurred. Kayla Hoyt, 28 years of Sky Valley, was arrested. After Hoyt heard she was being transported to Indio Jail, she collapsed and had to be transported by Cal Fire to EMC for complaint of pain all over her body. Hoyt was issued a citation at EMC.     2018 hours – Public Intoxication Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a pedestrian check at Kobe Restaurant in Rancho Mirage.  Bernise Gonzalez, 27 years of Thousand Palms was contacted and it was determined Bernise was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for herself.  Bernise was arrested for public intoxication and booked into the county jail in Indio.     2043 hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police was dispatched to a report of DUI driving at Hwy. 111 and Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage. The officer located the vehicle on Hwy. 111 and Atrium Way and conducted a traffic enforcement stop. Gwendolyn Puentes, 27 years of Cathedral City was contacted and field sobriety tests were administered.     0630 hours – Warrant Service Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Rancho Mirage Resort pool area, near Karen Way, Rancho Mirage regarding a suspicious person call. Officers contacted Anthony Manning, 24 years of Rancho Mirage and subsequently arrested Manning for having an arrest warrant for receiving stolen property.  Manning was transported and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S180710005.

    1930 Hours – Vehicle Theft Arrest – On March 9th, members of the Palm Desert Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) received information from Eisenhower Medical Center (EMC) staff that an unknown person was listing golf carts belonging to them for sale on a mobile buy/sell application. However, the golf carts were still in possession of EMC.  BSU Members, with the assistance of the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team (SET) negotiated an offer with the individual listing the golf carts. On March 12th, around 1930 hours, BSU and Rancho Mirage SET members conducted surveillance at EMC.  The suspect, Christopher Smith, 33 years of Beaumont, was observed stealing a golf cart from EMC and driving it off property.  Rancho Mirage SET conducted a traffic stop on the golf cart and Smith was arrested without incident.  Smith was transported to the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, where he was booked into jail for Vehicle Theft and a Parole Hold.  File #S180710007.

Officer Glasper contacted the victim who stated that her former live-in boyfriend, Manuel Crummentt, was involved in a physical altercation with her approximately three weeks ago. According to the victim, he shoved her against the wall while holding a hammer and threatened to kill her. Officers responded to 800 block of North Topaz Circle, Palm Springs, for suspect contact and contacted Manuel Crummett, 67 years of Palm Springs, and subsequently arrested him for domestic violence and making criminal threats.  Crummett was later transported and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility.     1923 Hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Betty Ford Treatment Center located at 39000 Bob Hope Dr. regarding a client that reportedly drove away from the facility while possibly being under the influence of drugs. Officers located the vehicle at Bob Hope Dr. and Ginger Rogers Rd. and conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the vehicle. Through the officer’s investigation, it was determined Ruff was impaired and was arrested for DUI Drugs. A blood sample was obtained from Ruff. Due to an elevated pulse and Ruff having high blood pressure, he was transported to JFK Hospital for a medical clearance and then booked into the county jail in Indio.  File #S180750037.

    0034 Hours – DUI Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Highway 111 and Mirage Cove, Rancho Mirage. The driver, Chad Cohen, 27 years of Las Vegas, was contacted and subsequently arrested Cohen for DUI.  Cohen’s BAC was .11%.  Cohen was transported and booked into the Indio Jail.  File #S180780002.

    1836 hours – Child Endangerment – Rancho Mirage Police responded to the Agua Caliente Casino located at 32250 Bob Hope Drive in the city of Rancho Mirage regarding a juvenile left unattended and unresponsive in a parked vehicle.  Upon arrival with Cal-Fire, they located the juvenile victim seat belted in a car seat and unresponsive.  The vehicle’s engine was running and the doors were locked.  Cal-Fire personnel broke the front driver door window of the vehicle and the victim was awoken and provided medical aid; however, no signs of trauma or injury were found.  The juvenile’s father, Moises Vasquez, 27 years of Hemet was located and detained.  The investigation showed the father arrived to the casino at 1803 hours and parked his vehicle. He left the child inside the vehicle to sleep. The father was arrested for child endangerment and booked into the Riverside County Indio jail.  Child Protective Service was notified and responded to take temporary custody of the victim.  File #S180780055.

    1805 hours – Violation of Probation and Trespassing Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to a call of a suspicious person in the Mira Vista gated community in Rancho Mirage.  Upon arrival, Simon Palacio, 41 years of Cathedral City was contacted.  At the request of security, Palacio was escorted off of the property.  At 1854 hours, Palacio returned to the property and was contacted a second time and subsequently arrested for trespassing.  Palacio was on PRCS and he was placed on a hold for violation of probation.     1043 hours – Burglary Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to Lake Shore, Rancho Mirage reference a burglary investigation. The victim had hired Ronda Barboa, 67 years of Palm Desert, to assist her with packing her belongings. Over the course of several days, the victim stated several items of jewelry went missing. Officers responded to the residence while Barboa was at the victims residence and found her in possession of one of the stolen rings.  Barboa was booked at the Indio Jail for burglary.  File #S180850020.

    0317 Hours – DUI Traffic Collision Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police witnessed a single vehicle roll over collision on eastbound Hwy. 111 west of Paxton Dr., Rancho Mirage. The driver, Maria Hernandez, 21 years of Indio, was contacted at the scene and later transported to Desert Regional Medical Center (DRMC).  Officers conducted a DUI investigation.  Hernandez was admitted into the hospital for further observation where she was issued a citation for DUI.     0353 Hours – Trespass/ Warrant Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to 32250 Bob Hope Dr. (Agua Caliente) regarding a subject being detained for trespassing. Saad Maqi, 51 years of Thousand Palms (transient), was arrested for trespassing. He also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for trespassing. He was booked into the county jail in Indio.     1648 hours – Public Intoxication Arrest – Rancho Mirage Police responded to 72817 Dinah Shore Dr. in the city of Rancho Mirage to assist Cal Fire.  Upon arrival, a local transient, James White, 60 years of Rancho Mirage, was contacted and it was determined he was heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself.  White declined medical treatment and was subsequently arrested for public intoxication.  As a precaution, White was transported to John F. Kennedy Hospital for a medical clearance and later booked into the county jail in Indio.  File #S180590066.
