Businesses based outside the city limits that wish to conduct a business, service, or contracting work within the City of Rancho Mirage (building contractors, gardeners, housekeepers, salesmen, delivery services, etc.) are required to obtain a Business License. A Rancho Mirage license is necessary in addition to any Business Licenses from the city where the home office is located.

The application process does not include any inspections and can normally be completed upon receipt of payment. Generally, a business license number and temporary copy will be issued immediately.

Business License Ordinance § N° 5.04.020 prohibits you from conducting business without a City of Rancho Mirage Business License.
