Disaster Preparedness Program for Pets

The Rancho Mirage Code Compliance/Animal Services Division, in conjunction with the Rancho Mirage Emergency Preparedness Commission, is proud to introduce this innovative new program, which provides residents an opportunity to obtain a Pet Identification Card (“PIC”), which includes a photo as well as detailed information about you and your pet.  Please click on the Pet Registration Form below to find out how to register your pet with the City.
Obtain your Pet Identification Card (“PIC”) one of the three convenient ways:

  1. Submit your application online by filling in all necessary fields below, attach a photo of your pet and click “SUBMIT” – your PIC will be mailed to you;
  2. Print the Pet Registration Form, contact Code Compliance/Animal Services Division at (760) 770-3220 to schedule an appointment to have your pet’s photo taken and receive your “PIC”; or
  3. Print the Pet Registration Form, deliver or mail the completed Form, along with a photo of your pet, to City Hall, Attn: Animal Services, 69-825 Highway 111, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270. Your PIC will be mailed to you.
