Business Licenses
City Ordinance 5.04.020 requires that anyone conducting a business, service or contracting work in the City of Rancho Mirage is to obtain a City business license.If you are occupying a physical location within the City of Rancho Mirage, a Use & Occupancy Application will need to be submitted to the Planning Division pursuant to the Rancho Mirage Municipal Code Section 5.04.110. Please note that a Certificate of Occupancy will need to be issued prior to acquiring your City business license.
Please be advised that Business Licenses are not prorated; they are issued on a yearly basis. All licenses expire the following year, on the last day of the previous month from when they were originally obtained. For instance, all licenses issued in February 2023 expire on January 31, 2024.
