Burrtec Waste and Recycling Services offers a full range of services to collect and dispose of solid waste for residents and businesses. Recycling is also available. All sizes of containers are offered, including compactors.

Residential Recycling
Collected at curb or in side yard or backyard AT NO COST once per week. Call 340-2113 for a FREE wheeled 32-gallon cart with a lid to conveniently put all your recyclables in for pick-up. Materials you can recycle include newspapers, magazines, junk mail, telephone books, office and computer paper, cereal boxes and egg cartons, cardboard, metal cans, glass and all types of plastics. Commercial (Business) Recycling

The SCRAP Gallery is an innovative program that addresses two of today's most urgent issues -- the environment and the education of our youth. Conservation and reuse through hands-on exploration with discarded materials is promoted at the SCRAP Gallery. Arts and science workshops help students understand complex environmental issues. Materials donated by local businesses and manufacturers are diverted from the landfill and are available for reuse by teachers, artists, and community programs. Businesses are encouraged to donate materials; pick-up is available. Rancho Mirage Public Library hosts several SCRAP Gallery workshops for adults and children every year.
