Senior Programs

The residents of Rancho Mirage are able to participate in a broad range of activities found throughout the valley. The two closest senior centers, the Joslyn Cove Communities Senior Center and the Community Center at Tierra Del Sol, offer numerous classes and social activities. The City's Public Library and Community Cultural Commission host a variety of programs throughout the year that seniors may also find entertaining.

The City utilizes the services of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) to provide for registration and insuring of numerous senior volunteers, who donate time in service to the community. To provide a rewarding experience, volunteers' interests are matched to active community programs in need of help, such as the Rancho Mirage Public Library, Citizens on Patrol Services Program (COPS), Children's Discovery Museum and Eisenhower Medical Center.
