 Public TransportationSunLine Transit Agency Providing transportation in the Coachella Valley, which includes fixed route and demand response services. For routes, stops and schedules A Transportation Services Program is available to Rancho Mirage residents of the housing complexes owned by the City of Rancho Mirage Housing Authority, including Parkview Villas, Santa Rosa Villas and Whispering Waters, which provides taxi services at a dramatically reduced fare. Residents can make use of contracted taxi services and are allowed to travel throughout most of the Coachella Valley. The destination must be related to medical, health, food shopping, social services, personal needs, recreation, dining, etc. Please note, in order to ensure that adequate transportation is available to meet basic needs, this program is offered only to residents of the housing complexes owned by the City of Rancho Mirage Housing Authority.
