Report a Crime Online

The Rancho Mirage Department accepts crime reports "on-line." If you are a victim of a crime that occurred within our city, you can submit your initial report here. This form is to be used for non-emergency crimes for which there are no suspects or evidence. For emergencies, please dial 9-1-1. The information below is essential and must be completed or the report cannot be submitted. Please enter your information as completely as possible. You may be contacted regarding this incident. After you submit this report to the Rancho Mirage Police Department, it will be reviewed by the staff and forwarded to the appropriate location. Once reviewed, you will receive an e-mail advising you of the file number assigned to your report. Please do not call and ask about the status of your report. If a deputy or other staff member needs to contact you, they will do so.

Lost Property When property is missing or lost. Property that is missing; leaving items in restaurant or store, or missing from home.
Theft Your property is taken without your permission. Property known to be stolen and missing may be reported. Lost property is not a theft. An unknown subject takes items from an unlocked car or from an open space.
Criminal Damage
Vandalism/Graffiti		 The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property. Spray painting walls, buildings or knocking over your mail box, throwing a rock through windows, etc.
Vehicle Burglary Property is stolen from a locked motor vehicle. Stolen equipment or property from a locked vehicle, such as stereo, golf clubs, cell phone
