Housing AuthorityCity Hall Annex Building The Housing Authority Board is made up of the five City Council Members and was created to be the voting authority toward the promotion of retention and development of affordable housing, providing residents with decent, safe and sanitary residential units. The Housing Commission is made up of community members appointed by the City Council and meets on issues concerning housing to make recommendations to the Housing Authority Board. Housing Authority Department staff also review and make recommendations to the Housing Authority Board to provide financial assistance and policy direction for the development of affordable housing.
