Located on Via Las Colinas, just south of Highway 111 and Peterson Road, Las Colinas incorporates 52 one-bedroom and 32 two-bedroom units (including one manager's unit) into two-story apartments with spacious exterior grounds. Elevators provide easy access to all of the second story units, two pools and several walking paths provide recreation/exercise opportunities, and a large clubhouse is on site for community get-togethers. Owned and operated by the City's Housing Authority, Parkview Villas is an 82-unit, senior (55+) affordable housing complex comprised of 41 one-bedroom and 41 two-bedroom units. Located adjacent to Whitewater Park, Parkview Villas is close to shopping, medical and other service providers. Included among its many amenities, Parkview Villas offers two pools, two tennis courts, extensive green belts and landscaping on its spacious grounds plus a roomy clubhouse complete with a library, television, comfortable seating areas and cooking facility-a perfect environment for holiday celebrations and community gatherings. San Jacinto Villas (under construction)

The City's Housing Authority will own and operate San Jacinto Villas, the City's newest age (55+) and income-restricted affordable housing community (see FACT SHEET). Construction began mid-September 2009 and estimated completion is June 2011. San Jacinto Villas will be a Silver LEED Certified environmentally conscious development built on roughly 8.7 acres located between Whitewater Park and the Rancho Mirage Public Library. It will consist of 82 one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 795 to 1,093 sq. ft., with 1, 1.5 and 2 baths, private 1 car enclosed garages, private patios and indoor laundry closets. Amenities will include a ½-mile walking trail, pool, spa, recreation room, putting green, bark park and direct access to Whitewater Park.
Santa Rosa Villas

Owned and operated by the City's Housing Authority, Santa Rosa Villas provides 33 single-story two-bedroom rental units, servicing those incomes in the very- low to moderate income categories, with priority being given to those households that are very- low or low income. Santa Rosa Villas is a gated residential complex that offers three single-story floor plans. All units are two bedrooms, two baths. Amenities include a pool and community room.
Whispering Waters
