Regular Municipal Elections

There are five members of the City Council elected by citizens of Rancho Mirage the second Tuesday of April in even numbered years.

CITY OF RANCO MIRAGE MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF APRIL 10, 2012 CANCELLED DUE TO THE NUMBER OF NOMINEES BEING EQUAL TO THE NUMBER OF CITY COUNCIL SEATS TO BE ELECTED.

Qualifications

Candidates must be residents and registered voters of the City of Rancho Mirage at the time nomination papers are issued.

Term

The term of service for a City Council Member is four years. Rancho Mirage does not impose term limits.

Fees

The City of Rancho Mirage does not charge a fee to run for office.
