Regular Municipal Elections

There are five members of the City Council elected by citizens of Rancho Mirage the second Tuesday of April in even numbered years.

Notice of Election

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Rancho Mirage on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 for the following officers:

Two (2) members of the City Council for a full term of four years and one (1) member of the City Council for a short term of two years.

This election will be conducted as an All-Mail Ballot election.  

Qualifications

Candidates must be residents and registered voters of the City of Rancho Mirage at the time nomination papers are issued.

Term

The term of service for a City Council Member is four years. Rancho Mirage does not impose term limits.

Fees

The City of Rancho Mirage does not charge a fee to run for office.
